Department of Pediatrics provides specialized attention and care to patients. Family-centered care is provided for children from birth to teenage in a friendly atmosphere.

The department is manned by experienced professionals dedicated to bringing up children healthy. All types of pediatric cases are managed here.

Neonatal Care

Neonatology offers comprehensive neonatal diagnostic and treatment facilities for critically ill newborns. It is also a multidisciplinary research unit dedicated to providing the highest quality care for newborns, ranging from healthy neonates to sick or premature newborns requiring close observation or intensive care.

NICU – Newborn Intensive Care Unit

NICU is one of our key commitments to helping and caring for new life. We employ modern medicine and technology along with compassionate care to provide infants with the best possible treatment.

Shrinath Hospital offers advanced neonatal care, allowing parents to visit more frequently and stay closer to their child. This opportunity to participate in the care of their infant supports the bonding process and gives parents a greater sense of involvement in their child's care.

Specialized Neonatal Care

Highly committed experts trained in specialized infant care are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to treat babies requiring care in our NICU.

Neonatologists work closely with the baby's doctor and are supported by pediatric specialists in cardiology and gastroenterology, along with referral specialists whenever required.

Our NICU interdisciplinary team includes neonatologists, neonatal nurses, dieticians and pharmacists. A dedicated transport team is also available to facilitate speedy transfer to a higher level of intensive care when required.

Treatment of Newborn Babies

The department provides care and treatment for newborn babies experiencing the following conditions:
